I’m a Philadelphia born descendent of Ashkenazi immigrant grandparents from Eastern Europe and multi generational white US grandparents with western European and African ancestry.
In 2002 I was introduced to ritual arts, ancestral healing, cultural reclamation and collective accountability practices as a student of Adenike Sharpley’s and I worked for many years as a community artist and teacher under her mentorship as well as the mentorship of many other artists, ritualists, teachers and community creators.
Since 2013, I’ve been in Minneapolis, healing, training in various healing modalities, studying my ancestral cultural/spiritual traditions and learning about integrative and intersectional practices like healing justice, emergent strategy and cultural self-study.
I’m certified in and have taught biodynamic craniosacral therapy and have also studied rosen method, somatic experiencing, ancestral healing, mind body medicine re-evaluation counseling and internal family systems.
I’m practiced at supporting healing from trauma and injury as well as chronic pain and illness. I also incorporate a range of traditional practices to support deepening embodiment, connections to ancestors and spiritual path.
I’m a poet, mystic, ritualist, bodyworker, cultural organizer and spiritual leader.
